This policy explains how Lakida Homes Realty Group (“Lakida Homes”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through this website. It doesn't cover information shared with us in person, by phone, or as part of a real estate transaction — that's handled under the agreements you sign with us at the time.
What we collect
We only collect information you type into one of our forms:
- Contact form: your name, email or phone number, what you're thinking about (buying, selling, and so on), the area and agent you're interested in, who referred you, and your message.
- Referral form: your name and contact details, plus the name and contact details of the person you're referring, what they're looking for, and any note you add.
- Monthly newsletter: your email address.
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and this website doesn't set cookies when you browse it. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses and browser type) to keep the site running and secure.
How we use it
- To reply to your message and help with buying, selling or investing in property.
- To contact the person you referred, and to let you know how it went.
- To send the monthly newsletter, if you signed up. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe.
- To keep simple records of who we've spoken to, and to protect the site from spam and abuse.
We don't use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.
Referrals
When you refer someone, you confirm that they know you're sharing their details and are happy for us to contact them. We use their details only to reach out about their move. If they tell us they're not interested, we won't contact them again, and they can ask us to delete their information at any time.
Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your personal information. We only share it with:
- Our agents and staff, so the right person can help you.
- Service providers who run the website for us, such as our website host, the system that stores form submissions, and the service that emails us when a form is sent. They may only use it to provide those services to us.
- Others, only when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our clients, our team or the public.
How long we keep it
We keep messages and referrals for as long as we need them to help you and to keep reasonable business records, then delete them. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.
How we protect it
Form submissions are sent over an encrypted connection and stored in a private system that only our team can access. No website is perfectly secure, so please don't send sensitive details such as bank account or Social Security numbers through our forms.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Children
